A rich imagination, curiosity, creative thinking, criticism, questioning conventions, and not accepting things to be what they seem – some qualities easily found in kids, yet tend to be lost by adults.
That's, unless they were lucky enough to keep reading, watching and practicing a hobby that forces them to keep on thinking, criticizing and imagining – science fiction and fantasy.
The Icon festival is opened for all ages interested in Science fiction, fantasy and role-playing. However, several events of Icon are adjusted especially for the younger crowd.
During Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - October 15th-17th, there will be role-playing games, workshops and other events for kids, between the hours 10:00-18:00 (on Friday – 10:00-15:00).
On Saturday, October 18th,
The 'Young Icon' events are aimed for kids and teenagers from the age of 10.
