Yossef Sarid (Schnedier) was born in 1940 to his father, Ya'akov, who was a member of MAPAI and served as Director General of the Ministry of Education, and his mother, Duba. In his book, Accordingly, We are Here Assembled , Yossi Sarid gives voice to the history that we haven't heard, to the events about which we did not read – because they were covered up? Because they didn't happen? Because it all seemed different at the time? In a dialog with Sahra Blau, Yossi Sarid will discuss new readings into history, and their ongoing relationship with the present, and the looming future.
