Wojciech Orliński
The Icon Festival, in conjunction with the Polish Institute in Israel, The Adam Mickiewicz Institute and as part of the Poland @ Israel program, is honoured to welcome and host Mr. Wojciech Orliński.

Wojciech Orliński (born 1969 in Warsaw) is a Polish journalist, writer and blogger. He has published science-fiction stories and opinion pieces in Nowa Fantastyka.
In 1994 He graduated chemistry at the University of Warsaw.
Since 1997 he works at "Gazeta Wyborcza" (Polish for "Election Gazette", Poland's second-largest daily newspaper) as a staff writer.
In 2005 he was a Milena Jesenska fellow at the Institute of Human Sciences in Vienna. His book on Stanislaw Lem ("Co to sa sepulki?") was published in 2007
He has also translated Isaiah Berlin's "Karl Marx: His life and environment" (published in 1999).
During November 2007 he participated at the National Convention of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies in New Orleans, where he gave a presentation on the history of Polish comics.
